Chole's Prayer

I wrote this prayer last year when I dedicated Chloe at the her foster home. She is now back with her biological mom. I pray that God will continue to keep this precious little girl safe and that she will always have examples of Jesus in her life. I pray that as she grows, her love for God will grow and she will always love and follow the Lord. Praise the Lord that the foster mom allows her foster family to pick her up for church and even comes herself sometimes with Chloe's older brother. Thanks for praying with me for Chloe! :)

Daddy, thank you for creating me.
I love you and thank you for taking care of me.
I thank you for how you guided me to my foster family.
You knew exactly what I needed in a mommy, daddy, brothers, and sister.
Bonus, you even supplied me with an extended family and church family that loves me like their own.

I know my life is different than a lot of other children.
I know you love my birth mommy, and she is also a child of yours.
Please be with my mommy as she learns to be the mommy you want her to be for me.
Please be with my brothers and sisters.
Thank you for keeping all of us safe.

I’m too little to express my love for you in words.
Please help me to have an opportunity to love you as I grow up.
Please protect me from Satan when he tries to attack me and my family.
I’m just a little baby now, but I want to grow strong and shine for you.

Today, my foster family is dedicating me to you.
This means they are praying for me, encouraging me, teaching me, and loving me always.
Even though I may not always live with them, I know they will always love me.
Their love for you shines so brightly, it can’t help but rub off on me.

Daddy, I love you and I dedicate my young life to you.
When I’m scared and confused, comfort me.
When I need people of God in my life, please provide for me.
“Jesus loves me this I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to you belong. They are weak, but you are strong.”

I love you Daddy!
