Peace Making

I need my Father’s help again.
I opened my mouth and inserted my foot.
My heart spoke before my brain kicked in to gear.
Feelings expressed without concern for where the words would land.
Words of concern turn to words of confusion.
Confusion cooks on low for awhile and then boils over to hurt.
Peace is needed.
Peace takes effort and humility.
Peace is accomplished as hearts, minds, and words connect.
Thank You for your Word that teaches us how to live.
Thank You for your Word that teaches us how to love.
Thank You for your forgiveness and grace.
Thanks for your help.
